OWM has delivered a project to Maproloc Systems B.V.
The delivery consisted of a transport unit for the so-called CargoPicker, an innovation of Maproloc which focusses on faster unloading of general cargo. The CargoPicker also reduces the physical strain of the operator to zero.
The delivered version is amplified for unloading heavy burlap bags with cacao- or coffee beans. The CargoPicker is a semi-automatic machine which is built modularly so it can be easily adjusted for various other cargo.
The transport unit is meant for bags, which the CargoPicker subtracts of the piles, to transport from the container. The main goal is to use the arm as little as possible, to make sure the productivity is optimal.
In this project, OWM has taken care of the production and assembly. The system was developed by Maproloc.
