For a manufacturer of frikandel (a kind of sausage) sandwiches, OWM has delivered a robotcel. This robotcel, containing two delta robots, provides the puff pastry on the production line of frikandellen.

The operator places 4 buffer bins full of frikandellen. These buffer bins are provided with a seperation system, which makes sure the frikandellen are sent separately to the robot. The robot then grabs these (frozen) frikandellen by vacuum and places them on pieces of puff pastry.

With this installation the customer saves more FTE. Because the customer worked in shifts, our return on investment was already accomplished in a couple of months!
